Genre thoughts: I love both the fluffiest of fluff and the smuttiest of smut. I don’t expect to see both in the same fic, but if you can make it work, power to you. I have a complicated relationship with angst - it’s fine if there’s some there, but I prefer it conclude with a happy ending. Given that I have multiple fandoms that include teenagers, please make sure everyone is 18+ - and that it’s made clear in the fic - if there’s going to be any smut.

Character death thoughts: Permanently killing a main character is a big fat DNW for me. Referencing the death of a minor character is okay, as long as it’s not a primary plot point. Basically - fic opens at a funeral or passing reference to someone that died before the events of the story, okay. Minor character dying in the middle of the story, DNW. Temporary character death is okay, as long as the resurrection occurs at the end of the story. Fix-it option for anyone dead in canon.

Pregnancy/kid fics: Yes please. I adore all sorts of kid fics. While I’m okay with mpreg as a general concept, I don't really see it fitting any of the requests this time.

SFW DNWS: on screen-death of any character, permanent death of a major character, angsty endings

NSFW DNWS: dub-con/non-con (unless otherwise explicitly stated), extreme kink, body fluids not meant to be involved in sex

I definitely see this as them reconnecting in college or later.  Given the heteronormative nature of the books, I can also see one or both of them struggling with their sexuality.

I’ve always loved Sam & Stacey, dating back to when I first read the books as a tween.  I see them as a break up and get back together a few times as a opposed to a first love happily ever after couple, which could easily lend itself to a 5+1 style story.

I’d love to see something with Watson being the paternal figure that Charlie never got from his own father.

CSI
Greg Sanders
Greg has been one of my favorites since I started watching the show.  A few ideas.  These can be left as gen, or combined with Nick/Greg.
1) A deeper exploration of Greg’s transition from lab rat to CSI.
2) Anything set between the end of CSI and his appearances on CSI: Vegas.
3) A CSI: Vegas AU where Greg returns to the lab permanently.

Greg Sanders/Nick Stokes
This is one of my oldest ships, so you pretty much can do no wrong here. My own personal head canon has them starting to date after Nick and the cable guy Stalker in season 2, but I also love to see alternative takes on that.

Any sort of hurt/comfort surrounding any of their traumatic canon events would be awesome and unfortunately for Nick and Greg, there are plenty to choose from.

I also have a weakness for kid fic with these two, especially where they adopt a child that was orphaned by one of the cases they work (i.e. Cassie in Gum Drops).

Nick Stokes
I’ve always adored Nick and was super bummed that he decided to leave right before the show was cancelled anyway and therefore wasn’t in Immortality because he was already written out.  I’ve got a few ideas here.  They can be left gen or combined with Nick/Greg or Nick/Mandy.

1) An Immortality AU where Nick appears either a) because he never left or b) he comes back to be a good friend to Catherine.
2) Anything pre-series before Nick comes to Vegas.  Either his childhood/teen years/college or the early years of his career.
3) A deeper look at Nick’s recovery after any of canon’s traumatic events, especially Grave Danger.
4) A CSI: Vegas AU where Nick comes back to town after Brass gets attacked.  I’ve always headcanoned Brass as a second father figure to Nick.

Nick Stokes/Mandy Webster
In season 7, it appeared that the show was inching towards making Nick and Mandy a thing and then remembered that she used to go out with Warrick and backed off.  As much as I adore Nick/Greg, I wouldn’t have minded Nick/Mandy becoming canon and would love to see parts of season 7 re-written from that perspective.

Warrick Brown/Archie Johnson
I’d love to see one of two things here:
1) An AU where Warrick never marries Tina and is with Archie instead.
2) An AU where Warrick and Archie start dating after Warrick and Tina split up and Warrick doesn’t start spiraling and no one gets killed off and everyone lives happily ever after.

Eureka
Jack Carter/Nathan Stark
Jack & Nathan are my primary ship for this show.  My headcanon is that they got together after “Right as Raynes” but I’m open to exploring other options.  Nathan is one of the “dead in canon” characters.  I’m fine with either ignoring it completely and pretending that is never happened or finding a way to fix it and bring Nathan back.  I’d also love to see Nathan adjusting to his role as a step-father to Zoe as it’s going to be a much different experience from when he was Kevin’s step-father.  I’m only interested in the season 4 accidental time travel changing the future thing if it’s used as a vehicle to bring Nathan back from the dead.  Other than that, I’m not super picky.  I always assume the past-Nathan/Allison that exists from pre-canon, but I’m also fine with it if you just throw that out the window.

Nathan Stark
If you’re going to write Nathan gen fic, I’d like to see something exploring his life before he returns to Eureka at the beginning of his series - childhood, Nobel prize, etc.  I’m okay with his marriage to Allison being referenced as long as it’s not a major component of the story.

Zane Donovan/Jo Lupo
I'd love to see either an AU where the accidental time travel and new timeline never happened or anything post-series.

Hamilton
Alexander Hamilton/Angelica Schuyler
Give me all your Alexander is with Angelica instead of Eliza ideas.  Please don’t have Alexander cheat on Eliza with Angelica.  Maria Reynolds is the only infidelity I’m cool with and only because it happened for real.

Harry Potter
Bill Weasley
I’d love to see something about Bill’s time in Egypt.  Why did he decide to take a job so far away from his family?  Anything from his first couple years at Hogwarts before Charlie joins him would be awesome too.  Is he homesick?  Or he is happy to finally have some piece and quiet?

Bill Weasley & Charlie Weasley
Because Bill & Charlie are so much older than Ron, we don’t see as much of them in the books, and poor Charlie especially gets the short end of the stick.

I’d love to see something of the two of them during their Hogwarts days. Or perhaps something after they’re both done with school but before Bill comes back to England because of Voldemort.

I can see them being incredibly close because a) they’re not that far apart in age and b) as they got older and kept gaining more younger siblings, their parents had to focus more on the younger children which resulted in them getting less attention and left to fend for themselves once they’re old enough to be able to do so.

Bill Weasley & Charlie Weasley & Percy Weasley
I see poor Percy as the forgotten middle child because he doesn’t demand as much attention as Fred and George and is enough older than Ron and Ginny that he would have been able to do a decent amount for himself when they were born. Bill & Charlie try to include him as much as possible, but there’s only so much that they can do during the three years between Charlie and Percy starting Hogwarts.

I’d love to see something set during the two years that it’s just the three of them at Hogwarts. Or perhaps, Percy is still in contact with Bill & Charlie while he’s estranged from the rest of the family because they’re the only ones that actual understand.

Something with the three brothers after the war would be awesome as well.

Bill Weasley & Percy Weasley
I see Bill as being the sibling that Percy’s the most similar to and Percy having a hero worship of his oldest brother. And while Bill has a bit of a devil may care attitude with his earring and hair and choice of profession, Percy’s so uptight and rules-oriented in his attempt to live up to being “just like Bill.”

I’d love to see anything with them bonding at any point in time and perhaps include Bill trying to assure his brother that he doesn’t need to be perfect and live up to everything that Bill has already accomplished.

Bill Weasley/Nymphadora Tonks
In a massive AU that I’ve been working on for years, I have them getting together timeline wise around Order of the Phoenix, but I’m open to other takes.  IIRC Tonks and Charlie are the same age, so maybe he plays matchmaker between his friend and his older brother.

Charlie Weasley
Give me Charlie and his dragons in Romania.  Also, JKR’s explanation of why Charlie never marries blows, so give me a new one.  Is he ace?  Is he trans and it’s a big family secret?  Does he have a secret relationship that he doesn’t tell his family about because he thinks they won’t approve?

Charlie Weasley & Percy Weasley
Charlie and Percy both have to follow in Bill’s footsteps but handle it very differently.  Charlie follows his own path - Quidditch, dragons - and Percy tries to be “just like Bill” but more uptight.  During the Hogwarts years, maybe Charlie tries to convince Percy to forge his own path instead.  Post Hogwarts, I’d love to see the two of them bonding as the children that were neither the older nor the youngest nor constantly getting in trouble.

Draco Malfoy/Charlie Weasley
I definitely see Draco as the pursuer here because of the seven year age difference, with a side of “oh shit, I have feelings for a Weasley” because of the antagonism between the two families.

Draco means dragon, so that is definitely something that I’d love to see incorporated. I also love the idea of both of them teaching at Hogwarts after they settle down and have a family.

Lucius Malfoy/Narcissa Black Malfoy
I’d love to see a deeper look at their relationship and their love for their son.  You really only get to see the negative things about them in the books because of the biased narrator perspective.

Marcus Flint/Oliver Wood
This is pretty much classic enemies to lovers trope. They hated each other at Hogwarts because they were supposed to but then they get out into the world and realize the other isn’t all that bad.

Marcus Flint/Percy Weasley
Percy is my favorite and this is a guilty pleasure pairing for me.  One thing I do not want to see is any cruelty on Marcus’s part or Percy feeling coerced into a relationship.  Despite any public antagonism at Hogwarts, these are two men that actually care about each other.

I’m good with either a secret relationship while they’re at Hogwarts or something where they get together as adults.  If you want to include Oliver knowing and thinking Percy is nuts, that would be a nice bonus.

Percy introducing Marcus to the Weasley clan and none of them being sure how to react would be awesome too.

Marcus Flint/Percy Weasley/Oliver Wood
This is another guilty pleasure.  I’m assuming that two are together first and bring in the third.  Percy/Oliver bringing in Marcus probably makes the most sense, but I’m open to the other alternatives.

Percy Weasley
Percy is my absolute favorite character in this fandom. I’d be happy with pretty much anything, but I do have a few ideas.
1) Given the size of the Weasley family, I can see Percy being the forgotten middle child, especially given how much trouble Fred and George cause. I’d love to see something exploring his childhood pre-Hogwarts - his perfectionism and uprightness could definitely come from feeling like he has to be perfect - and better than his older brothers - to be noticed by his parents.
2) Percy is aware that Fudge is using him to get close to Harry and intentionally estranges himself from his family in order to protect Harry and keep Fudge away from him.
3) Anything post-series with Percy repairing his relationship to his family. I’d prefer an AU where Fred lives - I haven’t finished reading Deathly Hallows specifically because “if I didn’t read it, it never happened.”

Percy Weasley/Oliver Wood
My OTP. My headcanon is that they dated all through Hogwarts (we’ll just ignore that pesky canon girlfriend thing), so I’d love to see one of those little moments.

Sirius Black/Remus Lupin
I’d love to see either a) something from their Hogwarts days/shortly after graduation that shows the beginning of their relationship. If you go this route, please end it before James & Lily are killed and Sirius gets sent to Azkaban. Or b) and everyone lives AU that has Sirius & Remus rebuilding their relationship after Sirius’s escape from prison. You can go with Sirius being properly exonerated or having to stay in hiding - just as long as no one dies.

Sirius Black/Remus Lupin & Harry Potter
Everyone lives AU time! I’d love to see something where Sirius gets properly exonerated at the end of Prisoner of Azkaban, Remus & Sirius pick up where they left off relationship-wise and they become Harry’s guardians, so no more Dursleys. How does this impact the rest of Harry’s time at Hogwarts? I’m very much good with this preventing Voldemort from fully returning and Harry’s 4th-7th years being largely uneventful.

Law & Order
Claire Kincaid/Jack McCoy
I first fell in love with Jack and Claire while I was in college and TNT was airing 12 hours of Law & Order every day and my whole hall was all “wait are they? okay, they totally are.”

Here, I would love to see a Claire Lives AU and where they go from there.

Cyrus Lupo/Connie Rubirosa
I much prefer this pairing for Connie than the Connie/Mike canon was trying to shove down our throats. Given that during the decade between season 20 and 21, both leave their respective jobs, I’d love to see a post canon fic for them and what they’re doing now. I prefer pretending that Law & Order: LA doesn’t exist, but I am good with Connie’s SVU appearance being included.

Frank Cosgrove/Nolan Price
I didn’t expect to get any new ships from the revival, but then these two happened. I’m good with anything with these two. Please have Frank be divorced from his wife, preferably amicable. I’m not a fan of infidelity.

Michael Cutter/Cyrus Lupo
The season 19 episode “Knock Off” is the one that had me start to ship these two. Some ideas:
1) What do they get up to sharing a hotel room in Dargerville? Established relationship or first-time is awesome here.
2) They hook up for the first time in Dargerville and have to figure out where they go from there.
3) Anything set after season 20 that shows where their journey goes from there.

Michael Cutter/Jack McCoy
This is one of my all-time favorite ships. Some ideas:
1) When Mike gives Jack the tie pin, it changes things between them and get together.
2) Arguing about the approach to a case leads to them hooking up in one of their offices.
3) They are already an established couple at the start of season 18. All the arguing at work is a cover.
4) Mike is one of Jack’s assistants in the earlier seasons and start dating during this time. When Mike gets promoted and starts trying cases on his own, all the defense attorneys go “well f***k” because from working together, they’re basically the same person in the courtroom and now there’s two of them.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
Dominick “Sonny” Carisi Jr./Mike Dodds
Everyone lives AU please. I see this as Carisi looking up so Dodds as someone older and more experienced that he can learn from. I’d love to see a post-season 17 AU where Dodds is alive but no longer working in SVU and how they navigate their relationship.

Rafael Barba/Dominick “Sonny” Carisi Jr./Amanda Rollins
This is the newest addition to my ship list and was born from the fact that the only reason that I didn’t like Rollins/Carisi is because she’s not Barba.  I finally went “hey dummy, that’s what OT3s are for.”  There’s a few approaches that could work, but I see it as being either Barba/Carisi or Rollins/Carisi first and the third being added later.

Rafael Barba/Dominick “Sonny” Carisi Jr.
I was very much happily ship-free for SVU until these two happened. One thing that I would love to see is an AU where Barba never leaves and he and Carisi end up working together in the DA’s office.

Everyone lives AU please. I definitely see this as Barba/Carisi being the established couple and working together to seduce Dodds.

This is another one for the everyone lives AU category. I love the idea of a slow burn here, where neither is all that fond of each other at first and then they grow to respect each other and then it leads to something more.

Charlie Eppes & Don Eppes
I’ve love to see anything focusing on their relationship as brothers.  Looking at how it’s evolved over time could be a good long fic idea.

Charlie Eppes/Colby Granger
I started shipping these two pretty much as soon as I started the show. I wrote a Janus List/Trust Metric centric fic for Fandom5k, so I would love to see more in that vein. How does Charlie react to Colby’s seeming betrayal? How do they rebuild things after that?

Colby Granger
Colby was my favorite pretty much from the first episode I watched (I started during season 4 and then went back and caught up), and that was before I found out that I share an alma mater with Dylan Bruno - and apparently they translated that to Colby but I don’t remember that at all.

Janus List/Trust Metric is always an awesome starting point for something Colby-centric.  Maybe a look into the backstory of what led up to that point that we never got to see.  How did Colby get everyone - especially David - to trust him again.

Colby Granger/Don Eppes
I’d love to see something set in the five weeks between Janus List and Trust Metric.  There’s a reason that Don was still watching Colby’s confession five weeks later because there was just something not write with it.  Putting the pieces back together in the aftermath would be awesome too.

Colby Granger/Ian Edgerton/Charlie Eppes
I’d love to see something about how they navigate this relationship without Ian feeling left out given that he’s not always there. I hadn’t considered this trio until I wrote it in a fic, and now I love it.

I’d love to see something that draws the parallels between Colby in Janus List/Trust Metric and Ian in Ultimatum and how both impact their relationship.

Sherlock
Mycroft Holmes/Gregory Lestrade
I’ve seen the first two seasons of Sherlock so many times, I don’t even remember what started me shipping these two. I’d love to see how their relationship started - if you follow canon and Lestrade’s divorce then Sherlock is probably the reason they first met, but I’m also very much open to AUs where Lestrade lets Sherlock consult on his cases because of his relationship with Mycroft.

Stargate
Cameron Mitchell/John Sheppard
John and Cam are literally only in one episode together - and only a couple scenes - but that’s pretty much all I needed to be able to run with it.  I feel like it’s clear that they already knew each other and my headcanon is that they’ve known each other since the beginning of their careers.  Or since college if you want to go with the John went to the Air Force Academy instead of Stanford route.

I’d love to see some pre-series backstory or them navigating a long-distance relationship across two galaxies.  I’m fine with an on-again, off-again relationship with these two given that a) DADT was a thing, b) John does have a canon ex-wife, and c) for season 1 of SGA there was no way of knowing if they’d ever be able to contact Earth again and I don’t think even John would sign up for that if he were in a relationship at that point in time.

Daniel Jackson/Jack O’Neill
SG-1 had already stopped airing  by the time I started watching, so I knew enough plot going in that by the midway point of season 1, I was already trying to decide how much time Daniel would need to get over Sha’re and get with Jack.  I’d love to see the evolution of their relationship to the point where they finally become lovers.  I’m fine with them having to date within the confines of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell or a case where DADT is technically policy, but no one in the Stargate Program cares, or pretending that policy never existed and bigotry isn’t an issue.

Evan Lorne
Evan is by far my favorite secondary character.  I would love to see a deeper exploration of his backstory and his artistic side.

Evan Lorne/Cameron Mitchell
Given that Evan has the ATA gene, I can see his relationship with Cam being the reason that he wasn’t part of the first wave to Atlantis, though he couldn’t say that was why because DADT.

I’d also love seeing them navigating their long-distance relationship once Evan is in Atlantis.

Evan Lorne/Cameron Mitchell/John Sheppard
I’m open to an AU where Cam is also in Atlantis or you can keep canon intact and have them navigating that long-distance relationship.  I’m good with two of them being together first and then adding the other later or with the triad being formed all at once.  Pre-series stuff would definitely be welcome here.

Evan Lorne/John Sheppard
 I assume that John and Evan knew each other before the series.  Given that Evan was not part of the first wave on Atlantis, I’m assuming that he and John were not together at that time, but I’m open to them having been together pre-Stargate and then getting back together later on.  I’m also open to fics set when they were younger before either had ever heard of the Stargate Program.  Or anything dealing with the random stuff that the Pegasus Galaxy throws at them.

Evan Lorne/Rodney McKay/John Sheppard
I see this as John and Evan dated pre-series and then split up because reasons (DADT, distance, whatever else you want to come up with).  Then John starting dating Rodney during SGA season 1.  Then Evan comes back into John’s life and there’s unresolved stuff and it all ends up as a triad.

John Sheppard
I adore John to bits and would love to see his complexities explored.  Perhaps something pre-series relating to either the black mark on his record or his difficult relationship with his family.  I’d also take a story that’s basically just Atlantis continuing to react to him in new and different ways.  I’m not going to be picky.

John Sheppard & Evan Lorne
This is basically the platonic partner to the Evan/John request.  I’d love to see the friendship moments that explain why they work so well together.  Any of the other requested ships for John and Evan could be referenced if you’re so inclined.

John Sheppard & Samantha Carter
I include Sam in the same friend group with John, Cam, and Evan that have known each other forever.  I’d love to see how that translates to Sam being John’s boss in season 4.  I’m going with any of the requested John ships being included with the assumption that Sam is aware, even if it needs to be kept quiet because of DADT.

Laura Cadman
Even though she was only in two episodes, I fell in love with Laura.  I will be happy with literally anything you want to give me.  Backstory, future fic, and AU where she stays on Atlantis - I will be happy with literally anything.

Laura Cadman/Cameron Mitchell
I headcanon Laura and Evan as besties, so Laura gets introduced to the John, Cam, Evan, Sam friend group through him.  Things develop from there.  Maybe Cam is the reason that Laura goes back to Earth (in which case she was never with Carson).  Or maybe Cam is a shoulder to lean on after she breaks up with Carson and then feelings happen.

Laura Cadman/Cameron Mitchell/John Sheppard
I see this as John & Laura as the established relationship and bringing Cam into things.  Cam & John having been together in the past could also be included.

Laura Cadman/Evan Lorne
This definitely falls under the guilty pleasure category because they barely had any screen time together.  I adore these two and would be happy with anything.  If you go the kid fic route, I’d love to see the struggle in the counter-balance between parenting and being in the military.

Laura Cadman/Evan Lorne/John Sheppard
Here I’d love to see past Evan/John, and then Evan and Laura are part of the second wave as an established relationship and John is all sorts of jealous until they resolve things with a trio.

Laura Cadman/John Sheppard
I’d love to see a lot of slow burn will-they, won’t-they here.  Either long-distance or an AU where Laura stays on Atlantis would her welcome.

Laura Cadman/Rodney McKay/John Sheppard
John and Rodney are an established couple, which Laura discovers while sharing a body with Rodney during “Duet.”  She decides that she wants to become part of the relationship.

Rodney McKay & John Sheppard
This is the platonic partner to Rodney/John.  If they’re not dating, they’re besties, so I’d love to see that explored more.  If any of the other requested John ships are included, I’m sure Rodney is full of opinions.

While I’ve dabbled with other ships, especially for John, this is the very first ship I had for this show and I’ve been revisiting it as of late. Given that Rodney tends to be a bit oblivious to the fact that someone is into him, I’d love to see something with John convincing him that yes he’s into him. I’m fine with them having to date within the confines of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell or a case where DADT is technically policy, but no one on Atlantis cares or pretending that policy never existed and bigotry isn’t an issue.
